How I'm finally growing out my hair.

When Justin and I got married, I got my hair did with lots of highlights. It was long, beautiful and I loved it, but also expensive to keep up with:

Then eventually I cut off my hair. Back then having roots (or now its cool and ombre) was NOT cool, so since I wasn't keeping up with my highlights, I just cut all the color out of my hair and chopped it off...sad story!

So for about 3 years I've been growing my hair out and you know what I have to show for it....not much:

I had to get it trimmed every 6 weeks and if I waited longer I paid a major price. My hair was nasty and tangled and then I ended up having to get even more cut off than just a trim.  On top of that my hair grew so incredibly slow that the trim just seemed to cut off the tiny bit that my hair grew.
