Growing up!

Inara had a big day yesterday. She said her first sentence. Yesterday morning Justin got her out of her bed and brought her out to eat breakfast. She looked at me and said "Hi, mom". The funny part is I answered her with "Hi, Inara", but somehow didn't put 2 and 2 together that she said a sentence. Justin was the one who pointed it out to me. So maybe it wasn't her first sentence....but rather the first one I remember her saying :)  Then when Justin left for work she said "Bye, Dad", it was really sweet.

This is her watching "Elf", the kid is still obsessed with it :)

She also added a new sign to her signing vocabulary. She can sign: more, help, milk, eat, and now she can sign  "please". I am SOOO happy! It is super helpful she signs more and help. I think it cuts out on a lot of whining because she can communicate with me.  I have been working on please for awhile and yesterday she signed it at my parents house and also this morning while we were eating breakfast.

She is talking a lot now too. It seems she just repeats everything we say. Yesterday she said: bow, shoe, and jacket.  Apparently she said "dang it" the other day too repeating something. Its definitely making me realize she hears much more than I think.

She is always begging to go "bye bye", and often brings me her shoes...or mine....to suggest us leaving.  Often her morning go like this:

Me: Good morning baby
Her: Hi..then she kisses her dogs she sleeps with
Me: Lets eat breakfast...then I get her out of her crib
Her: bye bye?

Its so funny and cute.  She also has learned how to take pictures with Justin's phone and with my phone too. Every time she sees one of our camera she says "baby" because she wants to see herself on the front facing camera and take pictures of herself.  Here is her latest work:
